On August 30, two young people were detained in Tyumen who allegedly made explosives and wanted to test them in the area of CHP-2. On September 2, a trial was held at which they were sent into custody. The title photo is from that court session.
The joint press service of the regional judicial system reported: "The Central Districtal Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against Kirill Brik, born in 1998 and Deniz Aydin, born in 1999 (young people do not work anywhere). They are accused of making a homemade explosive (Part 2 of Art. 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). By court order, the accused will be in custody until October 29, 2022". Young people allegedly made explosives at home, and on the evening of August 30, they went to the forest near CHP. According to the officious version, they wanted to make an explosion, but did not have time. Both of guys were detained. The police seized an explosive weighing 312.13 grams and two detonators.

Yuri Neznamov
On August 31, in Yekaterinburg, at about 22-23 pm, accompanied by the special forces, Yuri Neznamov born in 1995 was detained in a rented flat. An object looked like an improvised explosive device reportedly was found in the apartment. At the same time of the same day, Daniil Chertykov was detained in Yekaterinburg. A search is carried out in his house, after which 15,000 rubles in cash disappeared. Yuri and Daniil were taken to Tyumen.
Parallel to the arrests in Yekaterinburg, at about the same time period, people from Surgut, specifically Nikita Oleinik (born in 1995) and Roman Paklin (born in 1997, known as "Red" for his hair color) were also detained. After a search, 200,000 rubles in cash, which he kept in a gun safe, disappeared from Nikita's house.

Nikita Oleinik
On September 1, all of them were placed in the Tyumen Department of the Federal Drug Control Service. On this day, Nikita Oleinik managed to inform his girlfriend that he was at Malygina str. 54, he was charged with Art. 205 Part 4 (aggravated terrorist act), and asked his uncle to contact a lawyer.
On September 3, some man from the pre-trial detention center got in touch and explained that Yuri Neznamov was in the same block with him. He also said that as soon as Daniil entered the cell (apparently after interrogation), he began to say that they, with all the persons listed above, wanted to blast something. This behavior caused mistrust and questions among the inmates.
Daniil Chertykov
On September 4, it turned out to get in touch with Yuri himself. He managed to tell that under torture (electricity, water) he signed papers that he did not have time to read. He asked to make the fact of torture public, to attract human rights activists and public attention.
